Mission
The primary purpose of the organization is to provide assistance to abused children by raising national awareness, supporting the prevention of child abuse, providing funds and educational assistance to the courage house network, and presenting a national courage award event to support the mission of our courage house network for kids.

The ed block courage award foundation, inc. is a 501 c 3, dedicated to raising awareness and prevention for abused, neglected and at risk children. through our partnership with the nfl and the courage house national support network for kids, we find facilities for abused children across the country and dedicate them as a courage house with the team in their city. to date there are 27 courage houses and our goal remains to have a house in all 32 nfl team cities.
