The samaritan counseling center of the mohawk valley, inc. is an interfaith organization committed to a unique concern for the spiritual dimension of human life. our mission is to offer high quality psychotherapy and pastoral counseling to individuals, couples, and families. the interdisciplinary staff is trained to assist persons who seek relief from suffering and help them bring new healing and hope to their lives. a spiritual journey towards hope and healing together.individual and group counseling services are provided effectively and efficiently through collaboration with schools, pediatricians, clergy and their congregations, employee assistance programs and other providers of social services in our community. psychotherapy services are provided by social workers, psychologists and clergy. in 2022, scc provided 8635 hours of counseling to children, adults, couples and families for difficulties ranging from depression and anxiety, to academic and behavioral problems, sexual abuse,
