The organization provides specially-trained volunteers (casas court appointed special advocates) or staff gals (guardians ad litem), who are appointed by the courts to represent the best interest of abused and neglected children in court proceedings. the courts may also appoint casa/gal advocates to represent children involved in custody/ guardianship/ paternity/ other cases or in status offense/ juvenile delinquency cases. the organization recruits, screens, trains, and supervises the casa volunteers and staff gals who provide these advocacy services to bartholomew, decatur, and jennings counties.
