Organization Details
See attached schedule o(ncn's) mission is to deliver trainings and assistance to organizations working to strengthen and re-root the capacity of individuals, families and communities who have experienced trauma or seek to establish asset-based programs. ncn honors the identity and indigenous rooted traditions of chicano/a/x, latino/a/x, native, and communities of color in their work. ncn has a long history collaborating with communities of diverse ethnicities, specifically, african american and asian pacific islanders, weaving their cultural strengths and rituals into community healing. ncn is recognized as a leader by organizations committed to women and girls because their work addresses the biases and discrimination they encounter. as well, ncn uses an inclusive, co-creative process to serve lgbtq2s+ young people and children through a culturally rooted and healing-centered model that creates welcoming, safe and secure spaces for participants.
