The houston hoops basketball program is based on the involvement in athletics as a medium to address some of the many problems which face our youth today, specifically, problems with substance abuse and early withdrawal from school. participating in athletics is one way of helping youth to stay in school and feel good about themselves and others by developing a positive and caring attitude.
