Established in 2021, pride frisco serves as the first and only 501c3 public charity lgbtqia+ resource center in frisco, texas. our mission is to provide year-round support to the lgbtqia+ community through social and educational events, professional resources, scholarships, and strategic collaborations. guided by a committed to sustainability and an intersectional approach, our strategic vision is to establish a pride center a brick-and-mortar hub addressing the unmet need for a safe space offering year-round, life-affirming resources for the lgbtqia+ community of frisco and north texas. in a city of 230,000 people with significant growth, an ethnically diverse population, 30% minors under 18, and over 50% parents and guardians, with no services for lgbtqia+ individuals, pride frisco exists to address this unmet need.
